I'd start out in prophecies cause of the slow learning curve, plus you get free skills from the quests it offers while in the other chapters you either have to buy them or obtain hero skill points. After prophecies or at least after getting to Lions Arch i'd hit NF and do some quests/missions there for the heroes which help a lot but aren't necessary to beat prophecies. Factions i'd leave for last unless you want to start out as an assassin or rit.
As for pvp, no you can't convert pve characters into pvp ones. But you can still go to the arenas with them. Now what makes a pvp character different from a pve one is that they're automatically level 20 and have every skill that's ever been unlocked on your account available to them. They also have a variety of pvp only weapons which can only be used by the chracter they're made on. If you don't like the way they look they can also use weapons you've obtained by your pve character. Hope that clears some things up for you. |
